The PowerBook G4 17" with its giant screen and fully decked set of options is the perfect mobile replacement for a desktop computer.
TiCase17 offers the protection and the mobile desk to go with it!
TiCase, or TiCase15 as it is called nowadays, was the very first custom-fit case for PowerBooks, followed by the TiCase12. This work has taught us the needs of the mobile user - only a few seconds pass before you sit in front of your mobile desktop.
This experience led to the creation of two new cases for the PowerBook G4 17" - TiCase17 in true James Bond-tradition and FlightCase17 for those who do the nitty-gritty every day without a chance for a replacement half-way through the film.
TiCase17 is made of brushed Aluminium, virtually indistinguishable from the Aluminium finish on your PowerBook 17" - ideal for representation and any other application that calls for class and perfect design.
FlightCase17 is made for hard life on the road, for changing studios and locations, always on the move and no time to worry about bumps or dents to your gear.
Both cases share the same interior and also the unique LiftoMatic® that props the PowerBook into working position inside the case. While Q may see the LiftoMatic as yet another opportunity to integrate some of his toys we also have feedback from enthusiastic users who firmly believe it was created just for them!
TiCase17 is only slightly larger than the PowerBook 17" - up to 2 inches of hard foam protecting the interior from the rigors of the road. The PowerBook fits inside the case as though it was a custom-tailored suit!
Additional pockets for essential accessories are placed below a hard cover that keeps scratches away from the PowerBook. Spare batteries (up to 2 of them), power supply, power cable (even those clunky UK ones!) and of course - a slot for the iPod, new or old!
TiCase in action
Whether in a taxi, train or plane, your data is just a lid away. Lift off the lid, press gently on the rear corners of the PowerBook 17" and your favorite laptop lifts into working position. Open the lid and type away!
LiftoMatic® telescopic feet raise the rear of the PowerBook G4 so that the natural decline of your knees is properly balanced and the PowerBook G4 comes to a level rest in desk height. As a side effect LiftoMatic makes room for ample air circulation under the PowerBook G4.
