Digital Flat Panel
Maximum resolution and refresh rate
Available display modes are dependent upon monitor selection. 1920x1200 resolution for the digital flat panel is achieved through reduced blanking interval (available in Apple Cinema HD Display only)
***Important Issue for owners of G4 Power Macintosh AGP Graphics that originally shipped with DVI graphics cards (also known as "Sawtooth"):
The Radeon 9000 Pro operates correctly in these models with the exception of the ADC power supply. These Power Macs do not have an ADC connector on the motherboard - so there is no power in the ADC connector on the Radeon 9000.
There is one problem: ADC displays will not work as they require ADC power to be present.
This problem can be solved by using DVIator on the DVI port to work with the ADC display. If you need a second ADC display you add a DVI Extractor II to the ADC port and connect a second DVIator to the DVI Extractor - this gives you the second ADC port.
Note for owners of the G4 Cube: The Radeon 9000 Pro Mac Edition does not fit into the G4 Cube. However, if you are brave (very brave!), have the tools, the parts, some time and mechanical skill you can make it work. We have done this and can confirm it works!
