DVIator now bundled with ATI Radeon 7000 (11-04-2002)

Dr. Bott offers a kit for upgrading older PCI Power Macs with elegant Apple ADC flat panel displays. The bundle contains DVIator and ATI Radeon 7000 DVI cards for the Mac.

The ATI Radeon 7000 is a current-generation PCI graphics card for 33 and 66 MHz PCI slots that can be found in every Power Macintosh since the Power Macintosh 9500 was introduced.
The ATI Radeon 7000 offers 32 MB DDR-RAM as well as DVI, VGA and TV-out connectors. Dual head capability for driving 1 DVI and 1 VGA display simultaneously is part of the package. Drivers for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X are available.

Pricing
The MSRP of the bundle is set at 309,48 Euro, this is a saving of ca. 70 Euro compared with individual pricing.
Added features and benefits
The bundle also allows adding a second ADC display to an existing setup - the number of ADC displays is limited only by the number of free PCI slots.
A 22" Apple Cinema Display is impressive in its own right - two are downright awesome and should offer design and desktop real estate a plenty even for the most demanding Mac user. Technically, up to 6 Cinema Displays can be hooked up!
DVIator combines DVI video, USB and external power to drive Apple's ADC 15", 17" and 22" displays without any loss in quality or functionality. It is compatible with all G4 Power Macs with built-in DVI video and older Macs that have a compatible DVI video card such as the ATI Radeon 7000.
The Apple 22" Display is also PC-compatible - this requires DVIator and a compatible DVI card for the PC. Dr. Bott offers a matching card based on the GeForce 4 Ti4400 chipset. This card is not only a great match for the advanced capabilities of the Cinema Display, it is also one of the quietest designs available for GeForce 4 cards for the PC. Win 98/2k/XP and SuSE Linux 7.3 and later are all supported.
